Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Protein

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef or shredded chicken, season with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked (about 7-10 minutes).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Burrito

Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft. On each tortilla, layer a portion of the cooked meat, a spoonful of Spanish rice, and refried beans.

  3. 3

    Add Sauce and Cheese

Pour a little red enchilada sauce over the filling and sprinkle with shredded cheese.

  4. 4

    Wrap the Burrito

Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it tightly from the bottom up to create a burrito.

  5. 5

    Finish the Burrito

Place the burritos seam-side down in a baking dish. Pour any remaining red sauce over the top and sprinkle more cheese if desired.

  6. 6

    Bake and Serve

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve hot.
