Your choice of a bean and cheese burrito or a bean and cheese burrito fired up with jalapeño peppers. Topped with mild Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese and our homemade red sauce.

In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until soft. Add the tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Let simmer for about 10 minutes.

Prepare the Red Sauce

In a bowl, mix the refried beans with diced jalapeños (if using).

Prepare the Burrito Filling

On each flour tortilla, spread a generous amount of the bean mixture, then top with a mix of Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese. Roll the tortillas tightly.

Assemble the Burritos

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the burritos seam side down in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Pour the homemade red sauce over the burritos and serve warm.
