Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade. Coat the chicken breasts thoroughly with the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Preheat the Grill
Soak the mesquite wood chips in water for about 30 minutes. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- 3
Grill the Chicken
Place the soaked mesquite wood chips in a smoker box or directly on the coals. Grill the marinated chicken breasts for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 4
Warm the Tortillas
During the last few minutes of grilling, place the flour tortillas on the grill for about 1-2 minutes on each side to warm them.
- 5
Serve
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve the grilled chicken breasts wrapped in warm tortillas alongside Spanish rice or French fries and a chilled garden salad.
