In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak or chicken and sprinkle fajita seasoning over it. Cook until the meat is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes for chicken or 7-10 minutes for steak. Remove from heat and let it rest.

Cook the Meat

In the same skillet, add sliced bell peppers and onions. Sauté for about 3-5 minutes until they are tender but still crisp. Remove from heat.

In a large bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, diced tomatoes, black olives, Cheddar cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese.

Slice the cooked steak or chicken into strips and add it to the salad along with the sautéed bell peppers and onions.

Drizzle lime juice over the salad, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Top with sour cream.

Toss the salad gently to combine all ingredients and serve immediately.
