One of life’s simple pleasures. A pair of crispy corn tortillas, seasoned ground beef and savory shredded chicken with mild Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese and lettuce. Served with Spanish rice and beans.

Prepare Tacos

    Cook Ground Beef

    In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in taco seasoning and cook according to package instructions.

    Prepare Chicken

    If using pre-cooked shredded chicken, simply heat it up in a separate pan. If cooking chicken from scratch, season and cook it until fully cooked, then shred.

    Fry Corn Tortillas

    In another skillet, add a little olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Fry each corn tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side until crispy.

    Assemble Tacos

    Place a layer of ground beef and shredded chicken on each tortilla. Top with mild Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese and shredded lettuce.

    Cook Spanish Rice

    Prepare Spanish rice according to package instructions.

    Heat Refried Beans

    Warm refried beans in a small saucepan over low heat until heated through.
