Method

Prepare the Burg Sauce

  1. 1

    Mix the Sauce Ingredients

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until smooth and set aside.

Prepare the Patties

  1. 2

    Form the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Gently mix until just combined. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each.

  2. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side until a crust forms. Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese melts and the patty reaches your desired doneness.

Assemble the Burgers

  1. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 5

    Layer the Ingredients

Spread a generous amount of Burg sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Add a lettuce leaf, followed by the cheeseburger patty, slices of tomato, onion, and dill pickles. Finally, place the top half of the bun on each burger.

Serve

  1. 6

    Serve the Burgers

Serve the assembled burgers immediately with your choice of sides.
