Method
Chicken Breast Preparation
Season the Chicken
In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Rub this seasoning mixture all over the chicken breasts.
Bread the Chicken
Set up a breading station: Place flour in one shallow dish, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in a third. Dip each seasoned chicken breast first in flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
Frying the Chicken
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
Fry the Chicken
Carefully place the breaded chicken breasts in the hot oil. Fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Garlic Aioli Preparation
Mix the Aioli
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed and adjust seasoning to taste.
Sandwich Assembly
Toast the Buns
Lightly toast the hamburger buns on a skillet or in a toaster.
Assemble the Sandwich
Spread a generous amount of garlic aioli on the bottom half of each bun. Place a fried chicken breast on top, followed by sliced dill pickles. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
