Blue Cheese Dressing
Method
Prep the Wings
- 1
Prepare the Wings
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and baking powder. Toss until wings are evenly coated.
- 2
Arrange the Wings
Place the coated wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spaced out to allow for even cooking.
Bake the Wings
- 3
Bake
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
- 4
Prepare the Sauce
While the wings are baking, melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the buffalo sauce and mix well until combined. Set aside.
- 5
Toss in Sauce
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and toss them in the buffalo sauce mixture until they are evenly coated.
Make Blue Cheese Dressing
- 6
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, blue cheese, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well blended.
- 7
Chill Dressing
Refrigerate the dressing for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve
- 8
Plate the Wings
Serve the buffalo wings hot, alongside the chilled blue cheese dressing for dipping.
