Method

Cooking Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken breasts.

  2. 2

    Grill the Chicken

Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  3. 3

    Add BBQ Sauce

In the last few minutes of grilling, brush the chicken with BBQ sauce and allow it to caramelize slightly.

  4. 4

    Rest the Chicken

Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Making BBQ Sauce

  1. 5

    Mix the Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika. Stir well to combine.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 7

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the bottom half of each bun, place sliced grilled chicken. Top with additional BBQ sauce, pickles, and a generous scoop of coleslaw. Place the top half of the bun on the sandwich.

  3. 8

    Serve

Serve the BBQ chicken sandwiches immediately while warm.
