Prepare the Steak

Season the Steak
Rub the grass-fed beef steak with salt and black pepper on all sides.

Sear the Steak
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Chipotle Adobo Sauce

Combine Ingredients
Add the chipotle peppers, diced tomatoes, cumin, oregano, brown sugar, and chicken broth to the skillet. Stir well to combine.

Simmer the Sauce
Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
Slow Cook the Steak

Combine Steak and Sauce
Place the seared steak back into the skillet with the chipotle adobo sauce. Ensure the steak is well-coated.

Once cooked, remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice the steak and serve it garnished with fresh cilantro and lime wedges.
