Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Ziti

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the gluten-free ziti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Sauce

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the local sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.

  3. 3

    Add Tomatoes

Stir in the crushed San Marzano tomatoes, salt, and black pepper. Simmer the sauce for about 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  4. 4

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked ziti to the sauce and mix well until the pasta is fully coated with the sauce.

  5. 5

    Serve

Plate the ziti and sauce mixture, then sprinkle with grated Pecorino Romano cheese and garnish with fresh basil. Enjoy!
