Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Prepare Ingredients

Gather all ingredients: olive oil, butter, capers, lemon juice, and chopped fresh parsley.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sear the Salmon

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden. Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  2. 4

    Make the Lemon Butter Sauce

In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add capers and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in lemon juice and let simmer for 2 minutes.

  3. 5

    Combine and Serve

Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top. Cook for an additional minute to heat through. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
