1

Chill Glass

Begin by chilling your martini glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.

2

Combine Ingredients

In a mixing glass, combine the gin, dry vermouth, orange vermouth, gentian, and a pinch of salt.

3

Add Ice

Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds, until well chilled.

4

Strain and Serve

Empty the ice water from the chilled martini glass. Strain the mixture into the glass.

5

Garnish (Optional)

If desired, garnish with a twist of orange peel or an olive. Serve immediately.
