Croissant Filling

Method

Croissant Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a pan, cook your choice of bacon, sausage, ham, turkey, or chorizo until fully cooked. Remove from heat and chop into small pieces. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, salt, and pepper. Add the cheese and the cooked meat, mixing well.

  2. 2

    Toast the Croissants

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the croissants in half horizontally. Spread butter on the cut sides of each croissant. Place them on a baking sheet, cut side up, and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, until golden.

  3. 3

    Fill the Croissants

Remove the croissants from the oven. Spoon the egg mixture into each croissant half. Place them back in the oven for an additional 10-12 minutes, until the eggs are set and the cheese is melted.

  4. 4

    Serve with Potatoes

Accompany the croissants with Rosemary and Garlic Potatoes. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious meal!
