Sangria Base

Combine Wines
In a mixing glass or small pitcher, add the red wine and white wine. Stir gently to combine.

Add Spirits and Sweetener
Pour in the dark rum and triple sec. Add the granulated sugar and stir thoroughly until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Fruit & Garnish

Muddle Fruit
Add the fresh orange and lemon slices to the sangria mixture. Gently muddle to release the citrus juices without breaking the peel too much.

Assemble and Serve
Fill a wine glass with ice. Strain or pour the sangria over the ice, ensuring some fruit pieces are included. Stir lightly and serve immediately.
