Prepare the Sauce

Mix the sauce
In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, and water. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
Cook the Stir Fry

Cook the meat
Add the ground pork (or your choice of protein) to the pan. Stir-fry and break apart the meat until it's browned and fully cooked, about 5–7 minutes.

Add onion and sauce
Add the sliced onion and cook for 1–2 minutes until slightly softened. Pour in the prepared sauce and toss everything together, letting it simmer for another 1–2 minutes so the flavors meld.

Add basil
Turn off the heat and immediately add the Thai basil leaves. Stir through the hot mixture until the basil wilts from the residual heat.
Serve

Plate and garnish
Serve the stir-fried basil pork over hot jasmine rice. Top each serving with a fried egg if desired and garnish with lime wedges for an extra zing.
