Base

Method

Preparing the Base

  1. 1

    Mix the Ground Beef

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until all the spices are evenly distributed throughout the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the seasoned ground beef into four equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty that is about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.

Cooking the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, add a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes on the other side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Preparing the Sauce

  1. 5

    Mix the Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, honey, mustard, and hot sauce. Stir until well combined.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 6

    Toast the Buns

If desired, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each bun, place a cooked patty. Top with a generous spoonful of the sauce, followed by a handful of shredded lettuce, sliced pickles, red onions, and finally, a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.

  3. 8

    Finish and Serve

Place the top half of the bun on each assembled burger. Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
