Marinara Sauce

Method

Meatballs Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form Meatballs

With your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Bake Meatballs

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until fully cooked and browned on the outside.

Marinara Sauce Preparation

  1. 4

    Sauté Onions and Garlic

In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.

  2. 5

    Add Tomatoes and Seasonings

Stir in the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. 6

    Finish Sauce

Add chopped fresh basil to the sauce just before serving to enhance the flavor.

Risotto Preparation

  1. 7

    Sauté Onions and Garlic

In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

  2. 8

    Toast Rice

Add arborio rice to the saucepan and stir for 2-3 minutes until the rice is lightly toasted.

  3. 9

    Add Broth and Wine

Pour in white wine and cook until absorbed. Gradually add chicken broth, one ladle at a time, stirring frequently until the liquid is absorbed before adding more. Continue until the rice is creamy and al dente, about 18-20 minutes.

  4. 10

    Finish Risotto

Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
