Method
Preparation of Bread
- 1
Slice the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the Italian bread into 1-inch thick slices.
- 2
Toast the Bread
Place the sliced bread on a baking sheet and toast in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Assembly
- 3
Spread the Ricotta
Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spread approximately 2 tablespoons of ricotta cheese on each slice of toasted bread.
- 4
Add Prosciutto
Top each slice of ricotta-covered bread with a slice of prosciutto, gently tearing it if necessary to fit the bread.
- 5
Drizzle with Fig Glaze
Drizzle about 1/2 tablespoon of fig glaze over each topped slice.
- 6
Finish with Balsamic Reduction
Finally, drizzle 1/2 tablespoon of balsamic reduction over each bruschetta for added flavor.
