Base Ingredients

Toppings (choose up to 5)

Breakfast Potatoes and Toast

Method

Prepare the Omelet

  1. 1

    Beat the Eggs

In a bowl, crack the 3 large eggs. Add 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of black pepper. Whisk until well combined and the mixture is slightly frothy.

  2. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a non-stick skillet, melt 1 tbsp of butter over medium heat until it starts to bubble, ensuring the butter coats the bottom of the pan.

  3. 3

    Cook the Eggs

Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet. Let them cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges start to set.

  4. 4

    Add Toppings

Once the edges are set, sprinkle your choice of up to 5 toppings over one half of the omelet. Options include mushrooms, ham, peppers, tomatoes, sausage, bacon, spinach, onions, and cheese.

  5. 5

    Fold and Finish Cooking

Using a spatula, gently fold the omelet in half over the toppings. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the eggs are fully set and the cheese is melted.

  6. 6

    Serve

Carefully slide the omelet onto a plate. Optionally, garnish with fresh herbs or additional cheese.

Prepare Breakfast Potatoes and Toast

  1. 7

    Cook the Potatoes

In a separate skillet, heat 2 tbs of olive oil over medium heat. Add 2 medium diced potatoes, 1 tsp of garlic powder, and 1 tsp of paprika. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. 8

    Sauté the Potatoes

Cook the potatoes for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and tender.

  3. 9

    Toast the Bread

While the potatoes are cooking, toast 2 slices of rustic bread until golden brown.

  4. 10

    Combine and Serve

Once the potatoes are cooked and the toast is ready, serve them alongside the omelet for a complete breakfast.
