Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Glass

Take a lime wedge and run it along the rim of your glass. Dip the rim into a plate of salt to coat it evenly. Set the glass aside.

  2. 2

    Juicing the Pineapple

If using fresh pineapple, cut the pineapple into chunks and blend it until smooth. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp, yielding fresh pineapple juice.

Mixing the Drink

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of 1800 Coconut Tequila, 4 oz of fresh pineapple juice, 1 oz of lime juice, and 0.5 oz of agave syrup.

  2. 4

    Shake it Up

Add ice to the shaker, cover it, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Serving

  1. 5

    Strain and Serve

Fill your prepared glass with fresh ice and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.

  2. 6

    Garnish

Garnish with fresh pineapple slices on the rim of the glass or floating on top of the drink.
