Cook the Bacon
In a large pot over medium heat, cook the applewood smoked bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon, crumble it, and set aside, leaving the bacon drippings in the pot.

Add Potatoes and Broth
Dice the potatoes and add them to the pot along with the chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

Combine Remaining Ingredients
Stir in the heavy cream, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, fresh thyme, lobster meat, and shrimp. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
