Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Infuse Vodka

To make the house-infused Tahitian vanilla vodka, take a bottle of vodka and add 1-2 Tahitian vanilla beans, split down the middle. Let it infuse for at least 48 hours, shaking occasionally to mix the flavors.

  2. 2

    Brew Espresso

Brew a fresh shot of espresso using your preferred method. Allow it to cool slightly before adding to the cocktail.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of house-infused Tahitian vanilla vodka, 1 oz of Kahlua, 1 oz of Baileys Irish Cream, 0.5 oz of Tuaca, and the shot of fresh espresso.

  4. 4

    Shake with Ice

Fill the cocktail shaker with ice cubes (about 1 cup) and secure the lid. Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

  5. 5

    Strain and Serve

Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass, ensuring that no ice shards make it into the glass.

  6. 6

    Garnish

Garnish the drink with 3 coffee beans placed on top of the frothy surface for an elegant touch.
