Method

Prep

1

Prepare rim

Run the lime wedge around the outer half of the glass rim. Pour the kosher or margarita salt onto a small plate. Dip only half of the rim into the salt so about 50% of the rim is coated. Shake off any excess and set glass aside.

Mixing

2

Add the Lunazul Reposado tequila, fresh lime juice, and agave nectar to a cocktail shaker.

3

Fill the shaker with ice (about 6 oz or enough to three-quarters fill). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the shaker is cold to the touch and the exterior is frosty.

4

Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice (about 4 oz). Strain the shaken margarita over the ice into the glass, aiming to keep the salted half of the rim clean while pouring.

5

Garnish with the remaining lime wedge on the rim or floated on the drink. Serve immediately.
