Cheesecake Directions
- 1
Prepare the Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a 9-inch round cake pan with parchment paper, allowing the paper to hang over the edges for easy removal later.
- 2
Mix the Cream Cheese
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese using an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
- 3
Add Sugar and Eggs
Gradually add the granulated sugar to the cream cheese, mixing until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition to ensure a smooth batter.
- 4
Incorporate Cream and Flavoring
Pour in the heavy cream and vanilla extract, and mix until fully incorporated. Be careful not to overmix.
- 5
Add Dry Ingredients
Sift in the all-purpose flour and salt, mixing gently until just combined. The batter should be smooth and slightly thick.
- 6
Pour into Pan
Pour the cheesecake batter into the prepared cake pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- 7
Bake the Cheesecake
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is deeply browned and the edges are set, but the center still has a slight jiggle.
- 8
Cool and Chill
Remove the cheesecake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for at least 1 hour. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best flavor.
