Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder until well combined.

  3. 3

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, beat the eggs. Add in the milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Mix well until smooth.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

  2. 5

    Add Specialty Ingredients

Gently fold in the chopped nuts and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Baking

  1. 6

    Bake the Mixture

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Before serving, dust with powdered sugar.
