Brewing Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather 2 tablespoons of gunpowder green tea, 1 cup of fresh peppermint leaves, 4 cups of water, and 2 tablespoons of sugar.

  2. 2

    Boil the Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

  3. 3

    Add Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the 2 tablespoons of gunpowder green tea. Allow it to steep for about 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

  4. 4

    Strain the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into a teapot or heatproof container to remove the tea leaves.

  5. 5

    Add Peppermint and Sugar

Add the fresh peppermint leaves and sugar to the strained tea. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.

  6. 6

    Serve Hot or Cold

You can serve the Moroccan mint tea hot or allow it to cool and serve it over ice for a refreshing cold beverage.
