Flavor Enhancements

Method

Brewing Tea

  1. 1

    Boil the Water

In a kettle, bring 250 ml of fresh water to a boil. Ensure the water reaches a temperature of about 90-95°C (194-203°F) for optimal extraction of the Milk Oolong flavors.

  2. 2

    Add Tea Leaves

Once the water is boiled, remove it from heat and let it cool for approximately 30 seconds. Add 2 teaspoons of Milk Oolong tea leaves to your teapot or infuser.

  3. 3

    Steep the Tea

Pour the hot water over the tea leaves and let it steep for about 3-5 minutes depending on your preferred strength. A shorter steeping time will yield a lighter flavor, while a longer steep will enhance the creaminess and floral notes.

  4. 4

    Strain the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into your cup to remove the leaves. The tea should have a light amber color with a creamy texture.

Flavoring the Tea

  1. 5

    Add Honey

Stir in 1 tablespoon of honey into the brewed Milk Oolong tea. Adjust the amount based on your sweetness preference.

  2. 6

    Optional Milk Addition

For an even creamier experience, add 50 ml of milk to the tea and stir well. This addition will enhance the smoothness and floral notes of the Milk Oolong.
