Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Juicing the Grapefruit

Start by preparing the Ruby Red Grapefruit. Cut each grapefruit in half and use a juicer to extract the juice from both halves. You should aim to get about 1 cup of juice.

  2. 2

    Infusing Eucalyptus

In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the eucalyptus leaves. Bring to a gentle boil and then reduce the heat to simmer for about 5 minutes to infuse the eucalyptus flavor.

  3. 3

    Straining Infused Water

After simmering, remove the saucepan from heat and strain the eucalyptus leaves out of the liquid. Allow the infused water to cool to room temperature.

  4. 4

    Combining Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the grapefruit juice, cooled eucalyptus infusion, and honey. Stir well until the honey is fully dissolved.

  5. 5

    Serving the Drink

Fill serving glasses with ice cubes and pour the grapefruit-eucalyptus mixture over the ice.
