Base Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Infuse the Earl Grey

In a saucepan, combine the almond milk and Earl Grey tea leaves. Heat over medium heat until it begins to steam, but do not let it boil. Remove from heat and let it steep for about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Strain the Mixture

After steeping, strain the almond milk through a fine mesh sieve into a separate bowl to remove the tea leaves.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In the saucepan again, combine the strained almond milk, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir well to combine.

  4. 4

    Heat the Base

Place the saucepan back on low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is heated through but not boiling. This should take about 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Serve

Pour the Earl Grey crème into cups and garnish with dried lavender and fresh mint leaves if desired.
