Method

Brewing Process

  1. 1

    Step 1: Prepare Coffee Beans

Measure 0.5 cups of single-origin coffee beans. If you have whole beans, grind them to a medium-coarse consistency using a coffee grinder.

  2. 2

    Step 2: Measure Water

Boil 2 cups of filtered water in a kettle or pot until it reaches a rolling boil.

  3. 3

Step 3: Combine Coffee and Water

Place the ground coffee into a pour-over coffee maker or French press. Slowly pour the boiling water over the coffee grounds, ensuring all grounds are saturated.

  4. 4

    Step 4: Brew Time

Let the coffee steep for about 4 minutes (if using a French press) or until the drip is complete (if using a pour-over).

  5. 5

    Step 5: Serve Coffee

If using a French press, press the plunger down gently to separate the grounds from the brewed coffee. Pour the freshly brewed coffee into a cup.

  6. 6

    Step 6: Optional Add-ins

Add sugar, milk or cream, and cinnamon to taste if desired. Stir well and enjoy your cup of brew!
