Method

Prepare Cold Brew Coffee

    Combine Coffee and Water

    In a large jar or pitcher, combine 1 cup of coarse ground coffee with 4 cups of cold water.

    Steep

    Cover the jar or pitcher and let the coffee steep at room temperature for 12 to 24 hours.

    Strain

    After steeping, strain the coffee through a fine mesh sieve or coffee filter into a clean container to remove the grounds.

    Chill

    Place the cold brew coffee in the refrigerator to chill before serving.

Assemble Cold Brew Float

    Scoop Gelato

    In a glass, add 2 scoops of vanilla gelato.

    Pour Cold Brew

    Slowly pour the chilled cold brew coffee over the gelato until the glass is filled.

    Add Optional Toppings

    If desired, drizzle chocolate syrup over the top, add a dollop of whipped cream, and sprinkle with cocoa powder to taste.
