Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Juicing the Fruits

Begin by washing all the fruits thoroughly under running water. Cut the oranges, apples, and pineapple into halves or quarters, removing any seeds. Squeeze the juice from the lemons into a bowl, discarding the seeds. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Juicing Process

Using a citrus juicer or a blender, juice the oranges and lemons in a separate container. If using a blender, add a bit of cold water to help the blending process. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp if desired.

  3. 3

    Blending Apples and Pineapple

In the blender, add the chopped apples and pineapple. Pour in the remaining cold water and blend until smooth. If a thinner consistency is desired, add more water. Strain if necessary.

Mixing

  1. 4

    Combining Juices

In a large carafe or pitcher, combine the strained orange and lemon juice with the apple and pineapple juice. Stir well to mix the flavors.

  2. 5

    Adding Sweeteners

Add honey and sugar to the combined juice mixture. Stir until the sweeteners are completely dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired.

Serving

  1. 6

    Chilling and Serving

Place the carafe in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to chill. Serve the juice over ice in glasses and garnish with a slice of lemon or a sprig of mint if desired.
