Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

Peel and devein the shrimp, removing the shells and tails. Rinse under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Cut the Halloumi

Cut the halloumi cheese into 2cm cubes. This will allow for even cooking and easy threading onto the skewers.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Skewers

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning. If using metal skewers, they can be used directly.

  4. 4

    Mix the Fine Herbs

Chop the fine herbs (parsley, chives, and dill) finely and set aside for garnishing.

Assembly and Cooking

  1. 5

    Assemble the Skewers

Thread the shrimp and halloumi cheese cubes alternately onto the skewers. Aim for 3 shrimp and 2 cheese cubes per skewer for a balanced bite.

  2. 6

    Grill the Skewers

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the skewers lightly with ladolemono dressing to enhance flavor. Grill the skewers for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the halloumi has grill marks.

  3. 7

    Serve

Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill. Drizzle remaining ladolemono dressing over the skewers and sprinkle with the chopped fine herbs. Serve immediately while hot.
