Prepare the Honey Syrup
In a small bowl, combine the honey with a splash of warm water to create a honey syrup. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved. Set aside.

Juice the Lemon
Using a citrus juicer, extract the juice from a fresh lemon until you have 1 oz of lemon juice. Strain if necessary to remove any seeds or pulp.
Mixing

Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add the Old Line Vodka, Basil Eau-de-Vie, fresh lemon juice, and the prepared honey syrup.

Shake
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is well chilled.
Serving

Strain and Garnish
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and a lemon wheel on the rim.
