Preparation of Octopus

Clean the Octopus
Start by cleaning the octopus under cold running water. Remove the beak and ink sac if not already done by your fishmonger.

Cook the Octopus
Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add the octopus and cook for about 45 minutes or until tender. Skim off any foam that forms on the surface.

Cool and Cut
Once cooked, remove the octopus from the pot and let it cool slightly. Cut it into manageable pieces, about 3-4 inches each.
Marinade and Seasoning

Prepare Marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Marinate Octopus
Add the cut pieces of octopus to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Grilling

Preheat Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Plate and Garnish
Transfer the grilled octopus to a serving platter. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
