Prepare the Lobster
Start by filling a large pot with water, adding 1 tsp of salt, and bringing it to a rolling boil.

Cook the Lobster
Once the water is boiling, carefully add the 1 lb Maine lobster to the pot. Cover and cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until the lobster is bright red and the meat is opaque.

Prepare the Butter Sauce
While the lobster is cooking, melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in chopped fresh parsley.

Plate the Lobster
Once the lobster is cooked, carefully remove it from the pot and let it drain. Place it on a serving platter.

Garnish and Serve
Cut the lemon in half and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the lobster. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
