Preparation
- 1
Chill the Champagne
Place the bottle of champagne in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to ensure it is well chilled.
- 2
Juice the Oranges
While the champagne is chilling, wash and cut the oranges in half. Use a juicer or reamer to extract the juice from the oranges until you have 2 cups of freshly squeezed orange juice. Strain it through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a pulp-free juice.
- 3
Mix the Mimosa
In a champagne flute, pour 1 part of freshly squeezed orange juice and top it off with 2 parts of chilled champagne. The typical ratio is 1 part juice to 2 parts champagne, but you can adjust according to your taste.
- 4
Garnish and Serve
Garnish each glass with an orange slice on the rim. Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing mimosas!
