Method

Preparation

1

Brew Espresso

Begin by brewing a shot (1 oz) of fresh espresso. Make sure to use high-quality coffee beans for the best flavor.

2

Measure and Combine Spirits

In a cocktail shaker, add 1.5 oz of rum and 0.5 oz of apple brandy. Ensure that both liquors are chilled before mixing for a smoother taste.

3

Shake the Mixture

Fill the shaker with ice and secure the lid. Shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until the mixture is well chilled.

4

Strain into Glass

Using a strainer, pour the mixed liquors into a chilled cocktail glass.

5

Add Espresso

Carefully pour the brewed espresso over the back of a spoon into the glass, allowing it to float on top of the cocktail.

Garnishing

6

Garnish (Optional)

For an extra touch, float a few coffee beans on top of the espresso. You may also sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon powder for added flavor.
