Sauté Shallots and Garlic
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the chopped shallots and sauté for about 2 minutes until they become translucent. Then, add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, stirring frequently to avoid burning.

Cook the Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Make sure to stir occasionally to cook them evenly.

Add Wine
Pour in the white wine, allowing it to simmer for about 2 minutes, letting the alcohol cook off and the flavors meld together. Stir gently.

Finish with Butter and Garnish
Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until melted and well combined. Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Serve the garlic shrimp hot, with slices of Italian bread on the side for dipping into the flavorful sauce.
