Mushroom Caps

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Portobello Caps

Clean the Portobello mushroom caps with a damp cloth and remove the stems. Gently scrape out the gills using a spoon.

  3. 3

    Make the Stuffing

In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmigiano-Reggiano, bread crumbs, chopped parsley, chopped oregano, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix until everything is well incorporated.

  4. 4

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Spoon the stuffing mixture into each Portobello cap, pressing down gently to pack it in.

  5. 5

    Bake

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the stuffing is golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Portobello Origanato!
