Method

Pizza Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy. Add olive oil and salt, then gradually mix in flour until a dough forms.

  2. 2

    Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Topping Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Veggies

While the dough is rising, slice the zucchini, mushrooms, onion, and eggplant. Sauté them in olive oil over medium heat until softened. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Assemble and Bake

  1. 4

    Shape the Pizza

Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer to a pizza stone or baking sheet.

  2. 5

    Top the Pizza

Spread the fresh tomato sauce evenly over the dough. Top with sautéed vegetables and mozzarella cheese.

  3. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
