    Make the Caesar Dressing

    In a bowl, combine 2 anchovy fillets, 1 clove of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1/2 cup of mayonnaise. Whisk until smooth. Gradually add 1/4 cup of olive oil while continuing to whisk. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Prepare the Romaine Lettuce

    Wash and dry the romaine lettuce. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

    Assemble the Salad

    Add the buttery croutons and grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese to the bowl with the romaine lettuce. Drizzle with the homemade Caesar dressing and toss gently to combine.

    Garnish with additional Parmigiano Reggiano cheese if desired and serve immediately.
