Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Season the chicken breast with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Grill over medium-high heat for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Let it rest before slicing.

  2. 2

    Cook the Mushrooms

In the same grill or a skillet, add a little olive oil and grill the Portobello mushrooms until tender, about 5 minutes on each side.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Panino

On a slice of Ciabatta, layer sliced grilled chicken, grilled Portobello mushrooms, roasted red peppers, and a slice of Provolone cheese. Top with another slice of Ciabatta.

  4. 4

    Grill the Panino

Preheat a panini press or a skillet. Grill the assembled sandwich for about 3-5 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted.

  5. 5

    Serve

Cut the panino in half, garnish with fresh basil if desired, and serve hot.
