Pasta and Sauce
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Pasta
Cook the fresh fettuccine pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water for about 3-4 minutes or until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Cook the Pancetta
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced pancetta and sauté until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- 3
Make the Sauce
Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1 minute. Then, add the cherry tomatoes and red pepper flakes. Cook until the tomatoes start to burst and create a sauce, about 8-10 minutes.
- 4
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to combine, ensuring the pasta is well coated with the sauce. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Remove from heat and add fresh basil leaves. Serve immediately, garnished with additional basil if desired.
