Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- 2
Marinate the Fish
Place the whole branzino in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring it's well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- 3
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 4
Prepare for Broiling
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the marinated branzino on the sheet. Arrange lemon slices on top of the fish.
- 5
Broil the Fish
Place the baking sheet in the oven and broil the fish for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- 6
Serve
Once cooked, remove the fish from the oven. Carefully fillet the fish tableside, drizzle with additional olive oil and lemon juice if desired, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
