Preparation Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Asparagus
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the asparagus and trim the tough ends.
- 2
Sauté Garlic
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.

- 4
Layer the Ingredients
Transfer the sautéed asparagus to a baking dish. Sprinkle half of the grated Parmesan cheese over the asparagus, followed by half of the breadcrumbs. Repeat the layering with the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs.
- 5
Add Flavor
Sprinkle the chopped basil leaves and red pepper flakes on top of the layered asparagus.
- 6
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
- 7
Serve
Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and serve warm as a delicious side dish.
