Method

Preparation of Vegetables

  1. 1

    Chop the Vegetables

Wash and chop the bell pepper, carrot, zucchini, and broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Remove the ends of the snap peas and set aside.

Preparation of Sauce

  1. 2

    Mix the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, cornstarch, and water. Stir until smooth and the cornstarch is dissolved. Add the red pepper flakes to the mixture and set aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Stir-Fry the Vegetables

Add the chopped vegetables (bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, snap peas, and zucchini) to the hot skillet. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender-crisp.

  3. 5

    Add the Sauce

Pour the prepared sauce over the stir-fried vegetables. Stir well to coat the vegetables evenly with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  4. 6

    Serve

Remove from heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve hot.
