Brownie Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. 2

    Melt the Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat.

  3. 3

    Mix Sugars

Add granulated sugar and brown sugar to the melted butter. Stir until combined.

  4. 4

    Add Eggs and Vanilla

Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  5. 5

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  6. 6

    Mix Dry and Wet Ingredients

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.

  7. 7

    Fold in Chocolate Chips

Gently fold in the chocolate chips into the brownie batter.

  8. 8

    Bake the Brownies

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  9. 9

    Cool and Cut

Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting into squares.
