Panna Cotta Ingredients
Method
Panna Cotta Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Gelatin
In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin powder over 2 tablespoons of cold water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it blooms.
- 2
Heat the Cream Mixture
In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is hot but not boiling.
- 3
Add Gelatin to Cream
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved. Add the limoncello and vanilla extract, stirring to combine well.
- 4
Pour into Molds
Pour the mixture into individual serving cups or molds. Allow it to cool to room temperature, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- 5
Serve with Berries
Once set, carefully unmold the panna cotta (if using molds) and serve topped with fresh seasonal berries.
